Los Angeles Philharmonic Starts Busy Week Tonight
DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES - Bunker Hill is coming alive with the sound of music tonight with a program of chamber music by the Los Angeles Philharmonic at Walt Disney Concert Hall.
It includes two compositions by Beethoven and, after intermission, Brahms’ Second Piano Quartet. The performance is Tuesday, Nov. 3, at 8 p.m.
The performance is part of a busy week for the Philharmonic, which continues with music from Thursday- Sunday with Gustavo Dudamel conducting the orchestra in Verdi’s “Requiem,” a musical setting of the Roman Catholic funeral mass complete with four singers. Performances are Nov. 5-7 at 8 p.m. and Nov. 8 at 2 p.m. At 111 S. Grand Ave., (323) 850-2000 or laphil.com or laphil.com.
