DTLA - Downtowners will be singing along to “Rock Lobster” in a few weeks.

That’s because the B-52s will headline the 2018 Night on Broadway The fourth edition of the free arts and music festival is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 27, and will take place on Broadway between First Street and Olympic Boulevard. The B-52s will be joined on the main stage by “Lowrider” purveyors War, as well as cumbia and boleros band La Santa Cecilia. This iteration of Night on Broadway is also celebrating the 10th year of 14th District City Councilman José Huizar’s Bringing Back Broadway Initiative. Entertainment will take place in six historic theaters and on four outdoor stages. Additionally, there will be specialized block-party components including a “Ladies First” stage at Eighth Street focused on women artists, and an LGBTQ section at Fourth Street organized by DTLA Proud.
