DTLA - Each day at Peace Awareness Labyrinth and Gardens, visitors are treated to a 20-minute guided meditation. Afterwards, comments like, “Thank you for bringing so much peace and flow into my life,” are commonly heard in the foyer.
It turns out that, in addition to being a great feeling, peace can be good for your health.
“As you breathe in peace, tensions and worries drop away, and peace starts radiating through your body. Peace is present,” said Peace Awareness founder John-Roger, DSS. “As you drop the pressures of your life, you’ll find that peace is very much alive and present, beyond all the distractions of the world.”
Here’s an experiment everyone can try: Breathe in peace and breathe out any worry you might be experiencing. Breathe in peace. Let go of any mental tension. Breathe in peace and let go of anything that’s no longer serving your highest good.
If you’d like (and no one is looking), place a hand over your heart to acknowledge and appreciate yourself.
Experience peace with a free guided meditation at Peace Awareness Labyrinth and Gardens, Tuesday-Friday and Sunday at 1:40 p.m. and 2:40 p.m. at 3500 W. Adams Blvd, (323) 737-4055 or peacelabyrinth.org/visit.
