Clothing Company Takes Office Space in The Bloc

DTLA - The mixed-use complex The Bloc is gaining a new tenant in its office building. The online fashion and jewelry company Farfetch announced that it is leaving Boyle Heights and will fill 25,000 square feet of space on the 30th floor of The Bloc’s 33-story office tower.

Move-in is expected next year. The space will serve as the company’s West Coast headquarters. Farfetch deals in boutique and name-brand luxury clothing items by designers including Gucci, Alexander McQueen and Saint Laurent, and offers items for men, women and children. The e-commerce company was founded in 2008 and is based in London, with offices across Europe and North America. Its United States operations have been based in Los Angeles since 2009. The Ratkovich Co. owns The Bloc.
