DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES - Onni Group, a Vancouver-based developer that last year bought two Downtown properties, is finalizing plans to build a 32-story apartment tower at Ninth and Olive streets. The proposed $100 million building would rise at 888 S. Olive St. The so-far-unnamed 283-unit project is in the plan check phase of the permitting process and is on pace to break ground by August, said Chris Evans, Onni’s executive vice president. He said financing is in place to start construction, but would not specify how the firm will fund the building.
