DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES – It’s Cinco de Mayo and Downtown offers music, drinks and even some wrestling to celebrate the holiday.

If you want to party with the family there’s the Cinco de Mayo Festival at Nokia Plaza L.A. Live from 6-10 p.m. It features performances by Poncho Sanchez, Sheila E. & The E Family and Varsity Fanclub. Free admission. The party continues at the Hot Lava After Party at The Conga Room from 8 p.m.-2 a.m. with Mickey Avalon, The Pussycat Dolls Burlesque Review and DJs Big Syphe and Eric D-Lux.

For a more active celebration check out Lucha VaVoom’s “Cinco de Mayan” show features Mexican masked wrestling, saucy burlesque dancing, comedy and more at 8 p.m. at the Mayan Theatre on Hill St.

Or just lounge around as Suede Bar & Lounge hosts Una Noche con Casadores with live mariachis, a jazz band and DJs all night long beginning at 5:30 p.m.
