Councilman Alex Padilla was recently appointed chair of the City's Ad Hoc Committee overseeing the Democratic National Convention next month.
Padilla will hear all convention-related matters before the city, including security, transportation, and the accounting of the city's $4 million contribution.
Other committee members include Council members Cindy Miscikowski (vice chair) and Rita Walters.
